Jonathan Tsao has cast 76 recorded division votes in the current parliament, voting yea on 31 (41%) and nay on 33 (43%). Tsao was absent for 12 votes (16% of all divisions). Tsao voted with the winning majority 25% of the time.

In the February 2025 election, Tsao won Don Valley North with 43.77% of the vote, a lean margin of +6.2% over Sue Liu (PC, 37.58%). Turnout in the riding was 38.04%.
